Hello! Have you fallen right back into the Fall schedule with the kids and school–or, do you not even have to worry about that anymore? We’ve noticed that the days around here, at the candy shop, are a lot quieter since school got back into session. We know that with Anoka being the Halloween Capital of the World–and, with Halloween right around the corner, we’ll be super busy again in no time. But, for now, in this small lull, we’re taking this opportunity to restock our shelves and bring in some new, and old, favorites–and, we’re taking today’s blog to talk to you all about it. :) (Also, if you’re looking for a list of events that will be happening throughout Anoka, this October–check out the Anoka Halloween website.)
Grape, and Strawberry. Bubblicious is in–and, trust us when we tell you that that HUGE, Bubblicious, smell will take you right back to being a kid. (Were we the only ones that felt like the pieces were almost too big to put entirely in you mouth, btw? Cutting a piece in half made us feel like a baby though–so, we’d nearly choke every time we ate a piece.)
Because, gummies can come in any shape or form…we present, Haribo Mega-Roulette. They’re kinda like Lifesavers, but not really at all.
Another gum…Hubba Bubble Bubble Tape in both sour blue raspberry, and regular, is here! This was always a less-chokey gum to eat…still is, in fact. :)
efrutti Movie Bag!? These are super fun for a movie night treat! Each gummy treat is individually wrapped–so, you can’t just pop them all in your mouth before the opening credits are even over. Plus, kids love these because, well, they’re pretty awesome.
Sour Power, Sour Popping Candy is a lot like Pop Rocks…just, well, sour. (We have regular Pop Rocks too…just in case you aren’t crazy about the whole sour thing.)
Now, to go with our Choward’s Violets, we also have Choward’s Spearmints. They have the same, big, smell…just a very different taste.
These Original Cow Pies are back in stock! They are a bit spendy–but, they always fly right off the shelves. They’re made right over in Wisconsin using fresh pecans, and real dairy. They’re a really great way to treat yourself.
Horehound Old Fashioned Hard Candies…what the heck is Horehound flavor? Well, some say it’s like a combo of mint, licorice, and root beer. What do you think? Sound like it’s worth a shot? Or, have you had these before?
Little Abdallah Truffles are in! These are such a fun, and fancy, way to treat yourself–or, gift to someone else.
Fish Kabobs! These are really good. The fish will come right off the stick–so you don’t have to eat them all at once. (Though, you might want too…)
Licorice All Sorts…a more interesting way to eat black licorice.
Gummy Frogs! Really…there isn’t much more to say about these. Other than, ribbit?
